Ruby

Ruby is a sweetheart, loves people and never gets tired of pats and attention. She loves to play if you have the time for it and is generally a very affectionate pup. She's also fairly quiet and only really barks when she's excited. She'll happily curl up next to you and sleep, or walk for as long as you want.

Some information to know about when looking after Ruby:

Feeding Schedule:

Feed twice a day, once in the morning generally around 7am and once in the evening around 5pm.

Serving size - 100g (1 full red cup we will provide)

Leave out a water bowl, she’ll just drink as she comes and goes.

Walking and Exercise:

Please use her harness, not her collar, when walking her.

If letting off the lead to run, she can be controlled well enough with a ball. She is a very fast dog so best to keep her on the lead to build the trust so she stays with you.

She’s pretty sociable with other dogs.

Toilet:

She’s well trained and will go outside and let you know she needs to go by going to the door

Habits:

She loves chewing her kong toy, it will keep her busy. She is generally happy curled up in her bed, by your lap or out lying in the sunshine if it's a nice day. She loves the heat and being wrapped up and cosy. She loves company and wags her tail at everyone she meets.

Sleeping Arrangements:

She’ll sleep in her own bed and we normally have her in the bedroom with us, however she might be fine in the hallway. We have a pop up crate that she is happy sleeping in if you'd prefer for her to stay in that

Additionally, she’s registered with River Forest Vets in Leixlip if she needs to go urgently, otherwise go to the closest one that is open and let us know please.

Please keep doors to outside closed unless there is some sort of gate / fence to keep her in. She has my phone number (0894280050) and her address on her collar in case she gets out and someone finds her but she wouldn’t know to stay off the road so please try keep her in.
