Hey, I'm Carmel, a professional pet sitter since 2021.

I have been minding dogs and cats on a regular basis for several years now and have been absolutely loving it. My love for animal care started when we took in kittens and a feral cat 8 years ago. 

From this, I have learned to tame even the most feral of cats and usually will get on quite well with any personality. 

I have various certificates in pet care from Creedon's College, which include recognizing medical abnormalities, understanding pet dogs and professional dog care. I also have a qualification in Canine First Aid from the head trainer and canine studies tutor Carole Mansfield.

Pet minding has become a large and fulfilling part of my life, and I am minding pets on a more full-time basis now. My availability is flexible throughout the week, ranging from early morning visits to evening visits. 

My aim is for a stress-free time for you, as the owner, with the knowledge that your pet is in good hands. You'll be getting lots of updates from me so you can see how your fur babies are doing through videos and pictures.

In addition, they will be treated according to what they are used to which usually helps keep them relaxed and happy ☺️

Over the years, I've noticed that each pet has their own needs so I would accommodate to what best suits them - something that we would discuss in a free meet-and-greet arranged beforehand. This is a great opportunity for you to ask me any questions and for me to get to know your pet.

My house visits are 30-45 minutes.

Dog walking services are 30-45 minutes depending on your dog's needs.

House sitting is 24 hour overnight pet care with the flexibility of leaving the pet/s alone for up to 4 hours per day.

*I may be willing to travel further than my South Dublin region for overnight pet care at an additional fee.

*Areas out of the 5km radius will be an extra €5 per service due to travel expenses.
