My name is Rachel!

I'd love to be a pet sitter as I have grown up around dogs, and I've never lived without one and I never intend to not have dogs in my life!

my first word as a baby was "Mac" my family dog at the time, I used to climb out of bed as a child and get into the dog bed between our two dogs at the time A German Shepard cross and a collie lab cross so I'm well to being around dogs of all kinds and sizes.

I also volunteered in the DSPCA as a teen, where I spent my days in the rehabilitation section, bringing dogs out for walks aswell as spending 1 on 1 time with some of the dogs that had been abused to try and build up trust with them to help their journey to be adopted. It was difficult because I wanted to bring them all home!!

I currently have a golden retriever Winnie who I rescued in December, she came from a very abusive background and she took a lot of work and patience to get her to where she is today, she is so gentle and has an unbelievable temperament. I think the most amazing thing about dogs is their resilience, all she wants is to be loved and to give love despite everything she's been through, it's remarkable!!

I also a Cavapoo called Benny, he's such a little character and an even bigger sweetheart.

I know how much trust it takes to trust your pet in someone else's hands, I am the designated dog minder in my friend group for this reason and I love that they trust me with their fur babies!!
