We are the proud parents of two lively and cheeky miniature schnauzers, Heizenburg (9) and Negan (4). We brought Heizenburg and Negan along with us all the way from South Africa. We have learnt a lot about reducing animal anxiety and helping animals adapt to new environments.

We have both grown up with dogs and have been surrounded by animals our whole lives. We have experience with reactive dogs and animals needing special care.

We understand how difficult it can be to find people to look after and love your animals while you are away. This is the reason we have decided to make ourselves and our home available to other fur babies. We will happily come to your home or welcome *your fur baby into our home, and love them as our own.

About our place: We stay in a house with a secure garden. There is a beautiful park 5 minutes from our door for daily walks and we take our boys on hikes during the weekends. We regularly take our boys for longer walks in the fields and towns nearby. We find that exploring a new environment safely is brilliant stimulation.

We alternate our office days so that there is always someone at home to be with the dogs. Heizenburg and Negan are the resident dogs and we will have to introduce them to potential boarders to ensure everyone gets along. We always introduce one dog at a time in a controlled environment.

Our experience: We have both grown up with a variety of pets - cats, dogs, chickens, horses, geese, hamsters, parrots. We have experience taking care of elderly pets and administering medication. Heizenburg has arthritis and we have experience in identifying when an animal is in pain or uncomfortable. We also have experience in basic dog training as well as training for reactive dogs.

What you can expect: Before confirming a booking, we would like to meet you and your pet to fully understand their needs. If you would like your doggo to board with us, we will ask to meet you in the park across our apartment. We will come out to greet you and your fur baby and then bring Heizenburg and Negan out one at a time for a controlled meeting and socialisation. All services include plenty WhatsApp updates.
