My name is Camila Quintana, I am 28 years old, I am from Chile, a nurse by profession, I worked for four years in a public hospital in the capital.
I arrived in Dublin in October of this year to work and study English. I am currently studying English at the Everest school from Monday to Friday from 1:50 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Before traveling to Ireland I was an activist for the rights of non-human animals for more than two years. We carry out activities to promote the care and protection of our animal friends, both domestic and farm, the adoption and responsible ownership of pets and promote lifestyles that exclude animal abuse.
I have experience in taking care of dogs, cats, pigs and calves, especially dogs, since they have always been in my family and I was left in charge of them while my relatives went to work. I also adopted an elderly dog of approximately 12 years who was abused by her previous owners. I took care of her for over a year, where she was spayed, dewormed, and treated for a skin condition due to chronic flea infestation. Finally I was left in the care of my sister who moved to live in the south of my Chile.
