Feathers&furries small pet minding and dog walking

Hi, my name is Solen. I am 20 years old and an avid animal lover! I'm obsessed with all kinds of animals, big and small. I am based in Stillorgan, Dublin.

I offer small pet boarding or visits, cat or dog house visits and dog walking. Unfortunately I can not board dogs in my home at the moment.

I have a level 5 qualification in Animal care from DFEI, where I studied subjects such as animal behaviour, welfare and small animal husbandry. I am currently studying veterinary nursing in UCD. 

I have experience with a wide range of different small pets such as ferrets, rabbits, mice, rats, hamsters, birds, guinea pigs and more! I began minding small animals in my home 6 years ago after having grown up in an animal- filled home. My bedroom has been like a mini zoo for the past few years, as i’ve owned hamsters, mice, budgies, geckos, fish, guinea pigs and a ferret. The day I turned 16, I handed in my application forms to the DSPCA in Rathfarnham and was accepted as a volunteer. I began volunteering weekly and gained more experience with different types of animals.

Home visits (cats, small pets, dogs): I can also provide visits for small animals or cats around the Stillorgan/ Sandyford/ Leopardstown area, or places on the Luas green line. During these I can feed, clean and give company to your beloved animal.  

Home boarding (rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, etc):I would love to provide a home away from home for your small pet. I treat all my small guests as if they are my own pets, so that they can enjoy their holiday and owners don't have to worry about them. I can administer oral medication if needed. I can also cut the nails of guinea pigs or ferrets if requested. I keep all enclosures clean and sanitized and can provide fresh fruits and veggies to pets that need them.

I usually ask that owners bring their own enclosure however I may be able to provide an enclosure depending on the animal, (enclosure for rabbits or guinea pigs pictured above).

I can spend a lot of time with your pet. I'll happily provide one on one attention and lots of playtime. I'm also happy to provide photos and updates during the stay.
