My name is Emma! I am Irish, living in Killarney, Co. Kerry. I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse since 2021. I am also a Professional Dog Groomer. I have a genuine love for all animals. Since I was young I had always dreamed of working with animals. I am proud to say that I am fortunate to do what I love everyday. I have worked as a veterinary nurse for over 3 years and during my career, I have had the experience of working with a wide range of various species with different temperaments. I was also fortunate to work with such amazing animals from different animal rescues around munster, it was a very rewarding and fullfilling opporunity. During my first year working as a qualified veterinary nurse, I decided to upskill my dog grooming skill by completing an advanced dog grooming course. I received a Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management. 

I am currently working on expanding my business and revamp with a few different services. At the moment, I am offering a pet sitting service, house visits, dog walking service & I am also offering overnight pet sitting in the pets own home if requested. 

My Services:

House visits (1/2 Per day)

€14-18 (depending on frequency and number of pets)

• 20-45 mins
• Photo updates through whatsapp
• Fresh food and water topped up 
• Pet area cleaned e.g bird cage cleaned, litter tray cleaned and refilled
• Cuddles / play time

Dog walking

€10-17 (depending on number of dogs)

• Brief meeting prior to first walk about favourite locations, temperament, length of exercise etc.
• Meeting point/ pick up/ drop off
• 40 mins - 2hrs in total 
• Walks can be on lead only
• Photo updates through whatsapp 

Overnight/ Day sitting

€30 per day

• Brief meeting prior to pet sitting for introductions
• Can provide my own transport
• Photo updates through whatsapp
• Fresh food refill and clean up 
• Medication can be administered if requested
• Cuddles and play time

I have five pets of my own, three dogs and two cats. My cats are rescues and I nursed back to health while working in a veterinary hospital. I enjoy taking my dogs for walks or hikes around Killarney National Park and Muckross Gardens. 

I have access to my own car, where I can transport your pets safely to take your pet on walks.
