I’m currently studying at UCD and living away from home, and one of the highlights of my weekends is seeing my dog Fame run toward me, eyes gleaming with happiness. Even when I’m out for a walk alone, just passing by a dog instantly brightens my day. I genuinely believe dogs are some of the funniest, most joyful beings, and they deserve every bit of happiness they bring into the world.
In July 2023, I sadly lost my best friend, Peaches, one of my dearest dogs. I miss her every day, but I find comfort in imagining her running freely on a beach with endless treats to enjoy. Being around dogs has always brought me immense joy, and I’ve often dreamed of having one by my side during college, adding that extra warmth and companionship to my student life.
That’s why I’d love to be a pet sitter. It would give me the chance to spend time with your pet while I’m missing mine, and it would bring me so much joy. I’ve had dogs my entire life, so your dog would be treated with the same love and care as if they were my own. Since my dog doesn’t live with me, your pet would have my full attention—along with endless belly rubs!
