Hello! My name is Sara, I’m 33 years old, and I’m Portuguese, currently living in Ballynoe. I’ve loved animals all my life. As a child, I had hamsters, birds, fish, and turtles. When I got my own home, I adopted an adorable mixed-breed dog named Chester and, a few years later, rescued a sweet street cat named Kitty. I love being surrounded by animals, which is why I decided to become a pet sitter and share my love with other pets.

Since September, I've had the pleasure of caring for several dogs in Ireland, and it’s something I truly love. Being around animals is always rewarding, and each dog brings its own unique personality and joy. I’m dedicated to ensuring they feel comfortable and well cared for, just like they would at home. I adapt to the needs and routines of each one, creating a safe and calm environment.

For the past five years back in Portugal, I’ve taken care of my neighbor’s chinchilla every summer for a week, which involved changing water, feeding, giving snacks, cleaning, and keeping her company for about one hour a day. I also cared for a friend’s cat in my home for six months while she was in the process of moving and couldn’t keep pets. Beyond that, most of my experience comes from caring for my own pets, which includes walking, bathing, administering medication, playing, and giving them lots of love. 

For the safety of all animals, I only welcome vaccinated pets into my home. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members!
