My name is Roisin, I am 21 and a final year veterinary nursing student and I am due to finish my course in May. It goes without saying that I adore animals, I love spending time with animals, choosing to study veterinary nursing allows me to look after animals that need it and allows me to be their voice in their times of need.

I have been around animals from a young age , from my family farm in the West of Ireland to my own pets at home. We have always had pets at home from big to small dogs, guinea pigs and rabbits. I believe having a pet is such a comforting and important aspect of family life. They become a part of our family after all.

I began spending time in veterinary practice at 16, doing work experience all the way to now completing my clinical placements for college.I have spent time volunteering in the DPSCA in Dublin, I spent time walking dogs and repairing their relationships with humans as many of the dogs were unfortunately mistreated. It was so rewarding seeing them come out of their shells and go to their forever homes!

I am lucky to live near a beach and I love to walk my dog, Millie, on the beach to clear my head and she loves it too!. I love to meet pets of all sizes are temperaments. I am happy to meet your pet before an arranged appointment as I know it is important to make sure I'm the right fit for your pet.
