Kate

My name is Kate, and I am a 24 year old artist from Kilkenny, living in Dublin's city centre. I am a graduate of Trinity College and have been living in the city for 5 years now. Unfortunatley, my house is not pet-friendly right now, so my services range from dog walking, pet sitting and over night stays if you need to go away!

I grew up around animals and to this day have a huge love for them. I was surrounded by a variety of animals; jack russel terriers, grey hounds, lurchers, cats, pigeons, ferrets, hamsters and farm animals. My most memorable and closest companion was my dog Elsie, a basset hound, who I had throughout my teenage years and loved dearly. 

I have always felt, and been told, that I have a good knack with animals. I am more than comfortable around them, particularly dogs, and I am often my happiness when with pets! My experience with a variety of breeds, from german shepards to smaller terriers, makes me a suitable dog walker and pet sitter for you and your companion. 

My experience in any sort of minding falls in childcare. I have child-minded since I was a teenager, including minding children as young as 14 months, and the skills required of this role apply very well to pet sitting. A lot of the families I child-minded for happened to have cats as pets, so I am also more than comfortable around them also!
